The fantastic and incredible toasters show!!!
2007/03/14 in club “new style” in old building of sport palace, without any advertising , but who fucking needs it!!!!
So good opportunity to start my blog again after hmmm 4 months:) So back down in Lithuania nothing so special happening except yesterday and the legendary New York ska band the Toasters show, so we went with Mario (he is no more ska fan when me) and friends paid funny 20 lt. for ticket and twice for all the beer and vodka, and enjoyed best ska music that Lithuania have heard of !!!
Before was some oi! Band from Finland, they played quite nice, but everybody was just waiting for what they came here for – to sweat all the shit of a bodies, to get injuries all other your body in pogo and off course to skank in sweat sound of Jamaica (of New York in this particular case) so staring with legendary enemy of the system, skafinger they got crowd soon going crazy, chorus screaming oi! Oi! Two tone warriors always past the test and etc.:) My videos in middle is kinda shit, because everybody couldn’t control their movement, I was with a lot of bruises on all my body especially few times when almost climbing on the stage because too much pressure from behind, skinheads punks hippies and father, mother sons and daughters everybody in one crazy ska whirl,!!! When they stopped for first time and came back insanity level became dangerous (my camera was out of memory so no video evidence), stage diving started so it was kinda hard not to be hit by heavy boots in your head (own no for me its not big difference I was hit so many times in my life so inside my skull nothing important is left anyway) it was really strange how melodically and even lyrical 2 tone music can get people going on so fast and raging, happy shining eyes and sweat all other body and fuck its over… So after second finish one of local skins got on the stage started to sing “one more time” so we band came for third time but me personally couldn’t move after almost two ours jumping or i can call it dancing as shit so I just watched super night finish that ended by walking home by foot for two hours with beer and best mood ever….
